I remember moving to Florida in 1997, and one of the very first things my wife and I did was go on a nature hike with Win and Danny, who must have been seven or so. My memory of Danny was of this absolutely incredibly fun and outgoing little boy. Win introduced us and told Danny that we had just moved to Florida, and I think Danny said something like, "Oh, good! You'll love it here!" We spent the next several hours hiking with either Win or Danny teaching us tons of stuff about the local area, from Fire ants to trees, and I would swear Danny had as good a grasp on things as most adults even back then. He certainly made our introduction to Florida a lot of fun, and we're much better off for having gotten to know him a little. Win, he looked just like a little you back then.
