Win & family, know that our deepest sympathy is felt for you in this time of grieving. Dan's brief work for my company is still functioning as a restored ecosystem on Sanibel. I occasionally stop by the site where we planted Spartina to watch its ecological succession. It has been several years now and the plants have grown in along with volunteers of leather fern and rushes. I have seen many species of birds, bobcat tracks and raccoons. As is true in all that he touched, Dan's work is still bringing life to this place and for that I am thankful. Please, if you need anything, from music to a walk in the woods, just reach out.
